Casa de Paços Loureiro Reserva White

Casa de Paços Loureiro Reserva is a dry Portuguese white wine from the Vinho Verde region, made by Quinta de Paços near Barcelos from 100% Loureiro. Loureiro is the grape of the Lima and Cávado valleys, loved for its floral, citrus lift. This Reserva gives it more texture and length, so it works at the table as well as on the terrace.

Tasting notes

Loureiro is known for aromas of lemon blossom, bay leaf and green apple, with bright acidity. Here the wine is fermented in stainless steel and a small part sees a 300-litre French oak barrel, which rounds the palate and gives a richer, lingering finish without masking the fruit.

Food pairing

Pour it with grilled chicken and herbs, fresh shellfish, polvo à lagareiro, or a fresh sheep's cheese from the north.

About Quinta de Paços

Quinta de Paços is a family estate with around 15 hectares of vines near Barcelos, in Loureiro country, plus vineyards in Monção. The same family has owned it for about 400 years.
