Cabeças do Reguengo
Cabeças do Reguengo Vira Cabeças White
Pickup currently not available
Vira Cabeças White is a dry Portuguese white wine from the Alentejo, made by Cabeças do Reguengo, the family project led by João Afonso. It is a white to open slowly and come back to, the kind that changes in the glass over a long dinner.
Tasting notes
The estate's philosophy is "slow wine", treating wine as a living thing, with natural fermentations and minimal intervention. Expect a textured, characterful Alentejo white rather than a simple fruity one, with more to show after some air.
Food pairing
Serve it with a seafood açorda, grilled sea bream, roast pork with clams (carne de porco à alentejana) or a cured goat cheese.
