Bonnat Porcelana 75% Dark Chocolate is a French single-origin dark chocolate we stock, made by Bonnat in Voiron since 1884, with Porcelana cacao from Venezuela. A legendary cacao for a chocolate tasting with friends.

Flavour and texture

A 75% dark chocolate made from Porcelana, a rare and prized pale-bean criollo cacao from Venezuela. It is known for a gentle, low-bitterness profile with delicate nutty and creamy notes.

Food pairing

Pair it with a 10 or 20 year old tawny Port, a Madeira Malmsey or a fine espresso.

About Bonnat

Bonnat is a family chocolate house founded in 1884 by Félix Bonnat in Voiron, in the French Alps, near the Chartreuse mountains. Stéphane Bonnat, the fourth generation, buys cacao directly from growers and makes his chocolate from the bean in Voiron: roasting, grinding and a long conching. It is not Portuguese, and we say so openly. It is a French chocolate we stock because we love it, and it sits very well next to a glass of Port.
