Chocolat Bonnat
Bonnat Dark Cooking Chocolate
Bonnat Dark Cooking Chocolate is a French cooking chocolate we stock, made by Bonnat in Voiron since 1884, for baking and desserts. For the cook who wants a mousse, a fondant or a hot chocolate that tastes of real cocoa.
Flavour and texture
A dark chocolate made for the kitchen. It melts evenly and smoothly and gives desserts a deep, true cocoa flavour.
Food pairing
Use it for chocolate mousse, a fondant, a chocolate salami (salame de chocolate) or a thick hot chocolate. Serve the result with a tawny Port or a Madeira.
About Bonnat
Bonnat is a family chocolate house founded in 1884 by Félix Bonnat in Voiron, in the French Alps, near the Chartreuse mountains. Stéphane Bonnat, the fourth generation, buys cacao directly from growers and makes his chocolate from the bean in Voiron: roasting, grinding and a long conching. It is not Portuguese, and we say so openly. It is a French chocolate we stock because we love it, and it sits very well next to a glass of Port.
