Chocolat Bonnat
Bonnat Cacao Cusco 75% Dark Chocolate 100 g
Pickup currently not available
Bonnat Cacao Cusco 75% Dark Chocolate 100 g is a French single-origin dark chocolate we stock, made by Bonnat in Voiron since 1884, with cacao from the Cusco region of Peru. A bar to break slowly after dinner, square by square.
Flavour and texture
A 75% dark chocolate made from Peruvian cacao. Expect a deep cocoa flavour with fruity and gently roasted notes, a firm snap and a long, clean finish.
Food pairing
Serve it with a 10 year old tawny Port, a Madeira, a glass of Douro red or an espresso. It is also excellent with a few toasted almonds.
About Bonnat
Bonnat is a family chocolate house founded in 1884 by Félix Bonnat in Voiron, in the French Alps, near the Chartreuse mountains. Stéphane Bonnat, the fourth generation, buys cacao directly from growers and makes his chocolate from the bean in Voiron: roasting, grinding and a long conching. It is not Portuguese, and we say so openly. It is a French chocolate we stock because we love it, and it sits very well next to a glass of Port.
