Barona
Barona Monda Rice Lager
Pickup currently not available
Barona Monda Rice Lager is a Portuguese craft beer from the Alentejo, a light lager brewed by Barona in Marvão with Portuguese rice. It is a delicate, very drinkable beer, a nice surprise for anyone who thinks craft beer must be strong.
Tasting notes
Rice in the mash gives a lager a lighter body, a paler colour and a very crisp, dry finish. Expect a clean, subtle beer with light cereal notes, a gentle bitterness and plenty of freshness.
Food pairing
Lovely with seafood rice, grilled fish, sushi, salads, or a plate of fried peixinhos da horta.
