Barona Blonde Ale

Barona Blonde Ale is a Portuguese craft beer from the Alentejo, a golden, easy-drinking blonde ale brewed by Barona in Marvão. It is a friendly, balanced beer, a good start if you want to discover Portuguese craft brewing.

Tasting notes

Blonde ales are light, golden ales with a soft malt sweetness and moderate hops. The style typically shows notes of bread, honey and light fruit, a smooth body and a clean finish.

Food pairing

Pour it with grilled chicken, a prego, petiscos, cured ham or a fresh goat cheese.

About Barona

Barona Brewing Company is a family-owned craft brewery from Marvão, in the Alentejo, near the Spanish border. It started in 2015, and its name joins the initials of the three partners' surnames: Barrigas, Roque and Nabo. Its beers have won medals at the Barcelona Beer Challenge.
