Arcaico Red Onion Chutney 250 ml

Arcaico Red Onion Chutney 250 ml is a jar of red onion chutney from the Arcaico range of pickles and chutneys. The jar that makes a burger, a cheese board or a steak sandwich taste properly finished.

Flavour and texture

Red onions are cooked down slowly with vinegar and sugar until soft and jammy. The taste is deep, sweet and savoury, with a gentle tang.

Food pairing

Serve with goat's cheese, cured sheep's cheese, pâtés, burgers, sausages or a steak sandwich. Pour a fruity Alentejo or Douro red.

About Arcaico

Arcaico is the label behind this range of pickles and chutneys in glass jars. Preserving vegetables in vinegar with spices is an old habit of Portuguese kitchens, where pickles and escabeche have always shared the table with petiscos.
