Eduardo Ferreira & Filhos
Antília Rum dos Açores
Pickup currently not available
Antília Rum dos Açores is a rum bottled in the Azores by Eduardo Ferreira & Filhos, the family house behind the Mulher de Capote liqueurs of Ribeira Grande. It is a rum for cocktails and long drinks, with an Azorean label that makes a nice talking point.
Tasting notes
Antília is a column-still rum made from molasses. Column-still molasses rums are typically light and smooth, with notes of brown sugar, vanilla and a little spice.
Food pairing
Mix it with ginger beer and lime, or with Azorean pineapple juice. Serve it with grilled pineapple, banana cake or dark chocolate.
