Arinto is known for its high, lemony acidity, so expect a fresh, zesty backbone under the skin-contact texture.

Food pairing

Try it with petiscos: pica-pau, fried peixinhos da horta, grilled octopus, or a spiced curry. It also stands up to cured cheeses.

About orange wine in Portugal

In Portugal skin-contact white is called curtimenta, and the method has deep roots in the Alentejo talha tradition. A new generation of winemakers now makes it with grapes like Arinto across the country.

Good to know

Serve at 12-14 °C, not too cold.
