This bottle belongs to a small range that brings the island’s forgotten wines back to the table.

Tasting notes

Porto Santo wines grow in sandy, limestone soils swept by Atlantic wind, which gives them a salty, mineral character and sharp acidity. Expect a wine of tension and freshness, closer to the sea than to ripe fruit. The name plays on the friendly rivalry between Porto Santo islanders, the “profetas”, and Madeirans, the “villões”.

Good to know

Serve cool.
