Founded in 1883, it is the oldest tea plantation in Europe still in production. About 32 hectares of tea grow there on volcanic soil, without herbicides, pesticides or fungicides, and the estate handles every step from leaf to packet. The plantation and its factory are open to visitors, one of the loveliest stops on the island.

Good to know

Brew with water just off the boil, around 90-95 °C, for 3 to 4 minutes.

Loose leaf tea.
